Title I Information

McCornack is a Title I school, meaning at least 40% of its families’ incomes fall below the poverty line. The federal government provides extra funding to the school to support both the behavioral, social emotional and academic needs of students and the WHOLE SCHOOL, especially students identified for academic improvement to close the achievement gap. • tell you how we spend Title I money.
• Invite you to help us improve the education your child receives.
• Share data on how we are doing.
• Ask you to help develop and improve our family engagement plan and school compact (in English and Spanish)
