Standard Response Protocol: The safety and security of your child are our top priority. McCornack, along with all 4J schools, is working with the "I Love You Guys" Foundation to follow Standard Response Protocol (SRP). For the next five weeks, we will use this Family Week at a Glance, to educate families about each response. Learn more about the Standard Response Protocol at https://iloveuguys.org/The-Standard-Response-Protocol.html
LOCKDOWN Protocol: LOCKS, LIGHTS, OUT OF SIGHT - Lockdown is called when there is a threat or hazard inside the school building. From parental custody disputes to intruders to an active assailant, Lockdown uses class-room and school security actions to protect students and staff from the threat. At McCornack, we are careful not to confuse a SECURE or HOLD with a LOCKDOWN.

KITS AT Home is a school readiness program for parents of Pre K-1st graders (4-6-year-olds). Parents gather to talk about ways to support learning at home, help children follow directions and cooperate, and develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive in school.
Parenting Healthy Preteens is a supportive new program for the Parents of Preteens (4th-6th graders). There are few resources out there for families of children this age and we are excited to offer the program again this summer. Weekly groups focus on supporting our preteens' self-esteem, mental health, and success at home and school, as well as ways to take care of ourselves as parents.
