Coming Soon:
McCornack Parent/Family Handbook: We strongly recommend families review and reference this handbook (Spanish) which is full of important information about McCornack. Please click on this link once you have read/reviewed the Handbook.
Pre-arranged absences of three or more days: The pre-arranged absence form for School District 4J is used to request an excused absence for a planned event, such as a family trip. The form is required for absences of three or more days, and must be completed and submitted in advance:
When to complete: At least one week before the absence
Where to get the form: Click HERE
Who to get approval from: The principal and the student's teachers.
The form does not apply to emergencies, sickness, or authorized religious holidays. Absences due to illness that last more than five days require a doctor's note. Permission to be absent does not guarantee that the absence will be excused. Vacations are typically not considered excused absences

December 'Bee'havior Focus: Having a safe body: This month we are reteaching and reinforcing being safe, in and out of the classroom, here at school. Students can earn special red pollen pats for displaying safe behavior. We will be doing weekly drawings of those pollen pats and the winners get to pick a reward off of the HoneyShop cart. Please ask your child how they can be safe at school and see if they've earned any red pollen pats this week.
